Le Maitre Project

Whats Happening at Le Maitre

What an exciting time to be at Le Maitre. To now see the new structure filling the space left empty by the loss of the original clubhouse is thrilling. To know that the sounds of a hammer and saw will fade and be replaced by the laughter and cheer of all the wonderful moments that will be shared in this new Clubhouse is perfect.

By design and because of circumstances the new clubhouse respects the general architecture of the preceding building.

Architect Louise Bouré enjoyed the opportunity to again take on the design project of the Le Maitre clubhouse.

The existing repaired foundation was the base upon which the building would take shape.

This means it will continue to benefit from its great location overlooking the waterfalls that separates the 9th and 18th greens. The structure has a slightly lower roof line and the added 1100sqft addition where the putting green used to be gives the elongated building a Ranch type look. The outside colour selection highlights the post and beam work against a darker brown/gray background with bigger black framed windows.

The front gazebo that defines the building will now have the added benefit of having retractable windows which will increase the days and evenings when this space can be appreciated. The general interior look and design is reflective of a fresh and contemporary Mont-Tremblant chalet.

The layout was guided by our desire to have different food and beverage service areas that could accommodate all of our needs. The inside area now provides for our pre and post round golfers wanting a drink and good food in a relaxed bar type setting, lunch and dinner guests looking for a causal but chic dinning room atmosphere, and even our group events where we now have an overall interior seating capacity of 140.

The journey from October 17, 2017 to now has had numerous hurdles and setbacks but the sounds and sights of the new clubhouse being built is incredibly satisfying.  We have the opportunity to partner again with Le Maitre community developer Construction Tremblant to manage this project and build the Le Maitre clubhouse that all of our members can benefit from and be proud of.  We at ClubLink look forward to welcoming you in our new clubhouse at Le Maitre in 2020.
